We are a Midlands based commercial real estate advisory firm that specialises in UK wide investment agency, development fundings and asset management.
Alstonefield Real Estate was set-up in January 2019 by Barry Riley, a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Investment Property Forum.
Prior to setting-up the company, Barry spent over 18 years at Avison Young (formerly GVA), one of the UK's largest property consultancy firms, as a Director in the National Investment Team, based in the Midlands office.
Barry specialises in commercial real estate investment, and has been involved in over £600m of transactions across all commercial sectors with lot sizes ranging from £250,000 to £130 million.
Barry has advised a diverse range of clients including private investors, banks, property companies, local authorities, private equity firms as well as UK and overseas institutions.
Project experience ranges extensively from single let properties to complex multi-let assets and multiple sector portfolios.

We undertake detailed pre-marketing due diligence, prepare high quality sale packs and implement the most appropriate strategy to maximise pricing and deal certainty.
ASSET
MANAGEMENT
Pre-sale or post acquisition, we work proactively and creatively with our clients to identify and deliver opportunities to enhance value. This often comprises of portfolio break-ups, lease re-gearing, new lettings, and re-positioning through refurbishment, redevelopment and/or consideration of change of use.
TRACK RECORD
